About Us
Susan Douglas, hygienist, RDH
Susan graduated from Phoenix College, School of Dental Hygiene in 1975. With more than three decades of experience as a registered dental hygienist, Susan works alongside Dr. Poyak to make your dental experience rewarding. She enjoys working in a practice with a team that focuses on the patient first. Having worked in our dental office for more than 10 years, Susan treasures the relationships she has built with many of our patients.
Susan and her husband of 31 years, John, have two sons: Jason, a mechanical engineer who lives with his wife in Tucson and Matthew, who will graduate from University of Arizona in May. Away from the dental chair, Susan enjoys gardening, hiking, and keeping fit to participate in the Rock and Roll Marathon each year with her son and daughter in law.
Donna Carpenter, greeter/ client flow coordinator
After graduating with her associate's degree in science, Donna earned her silver wings as a TWA flight attendant. She now enjoys assisting Dr. Poyak and our patients as a greeter/client flow coordinator. Donna has worked with us for about three years.
After hours, she likes to scrapbook, cook, and garden. She has one son, Darren, and one grandson, Jared.
Patty Clifton, clinical Assistant
Patty has worked in dentistry for 20 years since graduating from dental assisting school. She particularly likes the one-on-one time she spends with our patients discussing oral health and helping them achieve strong smiles.
When she isn't working on smiles, Patty likes to read, garden, hike, or camp. She is happily married and has two children.
